Yah, but what I don't get is what's going on now? What are we waiting for? I guess for Moshiach to just show up.
Guess again... didn't the Rebbe just say right in this sicha that Moshiach is here and we just have to open our eyes?
Here we go again. I don't know about you, but this is as open as my eyes get, and personally, I don't see any tame lions walking around! It was that typical conversation we all have these days. Just trying to figure out what the Rebbe wants from us. Truth is, it's just tough for me to get into the mode of living with Moshiach.
Then I heard this radical piece of news... This past Hoshana Raba a delegation of 34 people from Papua New Guinea visited the Kosel and donated a kilo of gold and several thousand dollars to the Temple Institute, an organization dedicated to rebuilding the Bais Hamikdash. The delegation's participants, who define themselves as members of "The Bible Circle", told the institute's workers that they study the bible on a regular basis.
Recently, they read the Nevuah of Zechariah, where it says: "And they that are far off will come and build in the Mikdash of Hashem, and you will know that Hashem has sent me to you," and decided to follow the posuk and come to Israel.
The Papuans explained that since their country was rich in gold mines, their donation was "nothing out of the ordinary", but added that in the future they hoped they would be able to send valuable wood for the new Temple's construction. It happens to be that these people do not live very peaceful lives. Though they live in constant persecution, they know the truth. Now here are some people who truly live with Moshiach!
