Basic Information
Who: All Jewish children from age 4 to age 8 are welcome to participate in the Jewish Kids ‘N Action. The children are divided into age groups.
Time & Dates: The Jewish Kids ‘N Action takes place monthly on Sunday afternoons from 14:00 to 16:00 at Chabad’s New location – Belgiëlei 22 (See here for full schedule).
Each Session of the Jewish Kids ‘N Action is centered around a theme, with hand-on Arts & Crafts, activities, songs and games, all centered to the theme of the day.
Food: A Light snack is served at the program.
Cost: The cost for JKIA is 5 Euro per child, or 8 Euro per family.
* Scholarships are available. No child will be turned away due to lack of funds.
Curriculum: The Jewish Kids ‘N Action is a monthly meeting with lots of hands-on activities, bringing Judaism to life with crafts, games and much more! Each monthly meeting is centered on a Jewish theme, and features interactive activities, Jewish themed Arts & Crafts, baking and games which promote Jewish values and friendship with special emphasis on Jewish customs and culture.
This year we will discover the joys of the Jewish Holidays. We will explore the richness of our Jewish History. Besides for historical facts, the children will learn moral and Jewish Values from our forefathers and foremothers, including the significance of Kindness towards others, showing appreciation, honoring parents and many other important values.
Pick up and drop off: Parents have the option to either stay and enjoy coffee and cake in the adjoining room. Or drop off their children and pick them up at the end of the program. Parking is available in our very own spacious parking lot!
